But that’s just it, you don’t seem to be capable of remembering those killed by communism whilst also acknowledging millions more living perfectly fine in capitalist social democracies with stronger gun laws. Most of these nations also have many legal — but better regulated — guns.

You only appear to be able to focus on fear and that is inhibiting your rational thinking. You think liberals haven’t put any thought into their ideas but really it appears you are projecting your own lack of understanding on others. The reality is liberal societies have lead to the highest standard of living in the world.
