Thank you but I’m well aware of the crimes of the Nazis, but 9/11 shows you don’t need state-of-the-art military technology to inflict massive damage.

And may I remind you much of that American military technology sits in the hands of the Taliban right now, as well has been sold to Salafist regimes like Saudi Arabia for decades. The Nazis didn’t exactly have that luxury and by the end of the war it was pretty competitive... I mean Germany did lose.

Do you understand just how many have been killed by Taliban, Al Qaeda, ISIL, Boko Haram, Muslim Brotherhood, Saudi Arabia, etc over the last 40+ years? On almost every continent, far more widespread than the Nazis ever were. It’s pretty much incalculable at this point and only getting worse with new ones popping up every decade. I’d also think there are many in Kabul as we speak who would sympathize with your grandfather on many levels. The whole country in basically a POW camp right now…
