I'm not going to pretend these are not issues nor that Christian fundementalism isn't a problem. I will even accept certain elements of the Christian right is trying its darnest to move the needle in the direction of the Dark Ages.

But so far there have not been religious courts sentencing harratics to death. Or Crusades invading lands & forcing conversions. Nobody is being lashed or executed in the street. Women are not being removed from society and/or segregated in all forms of life. These things are happening under Taliban now and other Salafist regimes.

In the US if you don't like a certain State's laws you can move to another one. In Saudi Arabia if you try to leave they will litterally try to kidnap you and take you back or send a hit squad à la Khashoggi. In the US you can go out and protest these things & it's also possible to elect better politicians for change. You can't do either of these things under a salafist regimes. Any form of dissent or democracy is forbidden.

If you still think these issues are on the same level consider how many are fleeing Salafism to the US and not the other way around. Perhaps it's you who is being dishonest.
